DIY Kindle Case
I wanted some sort of case for my new Kindle, but didn’t want to pay Amazon prices. In case it is of any use to anyone else, here’s how I made it…
Step 1 - Preparation
Got myself a cheap A5 notebook from WHSmith - only £2.99 in their half price sale.
Steel Rule, sharp knife, glue, pen, that’s about it.
Step 2 - Hollow it out!
Trace the Kindle onto the 1st page, then...

Dear SCEE
I wish to complain about my 60gb PS3 that I bought a week after launch (23rd March 2007) from Marks and Spencer for £459 including Motorstorm.
Yesterday my PS3 failed to boot up, with what has been commonly referred to as the “Yellow Light of Death”.
I am the member of a gaming forum with probably 30 active PS3 members, and FIVE of us have had this problem within the past 10...
Yawn.
Stayed up far too late playing Modern Warfare 2 last night (01:15ish).
Then spent today working from home, and in an odd move, work really hard and intensly (is that a real word?) all day.
Am now falling asleep in front of the TV with a massive glass of single malt whilst House struggles to treat a porn star with almost no team. House, that is, not the porn star.
Yawn. (again)

Operation Netgear is almost complete. Next: reconfiguring wifi on 2 phones, 2 consoles, 3 handhelds, 2 laptops, and my Mac Mini.
Ugh.
Well, now I have my new router, my PS3 connection speed (using the built in test) has dropped from 3mbs to 1.5. Grrr….
That test is new though. The real benchmark is what size Warhawk games I can host. I can still host 12 so no complaints…

Balls. Now the laptop I did all the router config on refuses to connect wirelessly.
Great big fat steaming arse biscuits.
Laptop sorted by the way, seems like it didn’t like WPA2.
Went to the T-Mobile shop to look at upgrading Mrs Kevling’s phone. Walked out with a free G2 for an extra £5 a month. She’s very happy!

Just watched Galaxy Quest. Love that film… Found it in my DVD box still sealed, from God knows when, with a £2 price sticker on it.
Daughter is ill today so it’s a perfect excuse to take some flexi-time and stay home with her rather than get Mrs Kevling to come home early
